Can we remove scratches from paint?
Q1. Can all scratches be removed?
✅ Yes & ❌ No
It depends on how deep the damage is. If the scratches are only in the clear coat, they can often be wet sanded and polished away. If they’ve gone through the clear coat into the paint or plastic, we only remove what is safe to remove while preserving as much clear coat as possible.
Q2. Do I need expensive tools to fix scratches like these?
❌ No
You don’t need thousands of dollars in equipment. The right technique and experience matter far more than the tool itself. This repair was completed using a simple 3-inch drill attachment.
Q3. Why are some marks still visible after polishing?
✅ Because not all damage is polishable.
Paint correction removes scratches in the clear coat. It cannot repair cracked paint, gouged plastic, or areas where the paint has already been removed. The goal is to eliminate the eyesore while preserving the vehicle’s original paint.
The best paint correction isn’t the one that removes the most paint—it’s the one that preserves as much of your original finish as possible.
